Obviously, little H produced these collages.
And here soemthing from the 'big kid'
Hello everyone! Thanks for visiting! This was the place were we shared some of our homeschooling experience and our resources with everyone interested. We changed it into simply to showing Arts and Crafts of our boys. Enjoy! Comments are always welcome.

November Gallery
Everything about Thanksgiving in November... we were surrounded by lots for Turkeys and Feathers ;)
But there was still something else; H is very passionate about using glue... He used two bottles of Elmer's within 3 days!!!

From Homeschooling Blog to Arts and Craft Blog
Since we found an awesome school for F we decided to change this blog into a place where the kids can show their arts and crafts. It's so hard to decide which to keep and which to toss... this way almost everything can be preserved and everyone can see and enjoy it.
Have fun! :)

Free Valentine's Day themed worksheets
January flew by and now we're approaching Valentine's Day already. I haven't posted for some time, but finally, here are a few links to free Valetine's Day themed worksheets, free crosswords for Grade 1 and Kindergarten (although you can usually find material for higher grades on the pages I list as well).
Have fun!

Pancake Fractions ;-)
I bet it's not new, but practicing fractions while cutting pancakes into equal pieces and then topping them with sugar, syrup, berries or whatever the favorite is truly enjoyable and also a free lesson ;-)
Also I combined preparing the batter with some practice in measuring ingredients, comparing sizes and weights... and sorry for saying it again: All practice free of charge - no expensive curriculum needed!
Perhaps I should post the recipe - Oatmeal Pumpkin Pancakes - Yummmmmm! But for now I better get back to the kitchen - the Bananabread is almost done.

All the excitement...
...doesn't seem to stop.
We went to the "Kids Commons" (Children's Museum in Columbus, Indiana) today. Once a month they open their doors for Homeschoolers at a VERY good price: Just $4.00 per child. The accompanying adult gets in for free. Special educational programs are available for different age groups. While children will attend their program, the older/younger ones can explore the museum. We loved it! And we'll be back next month.
